Wall painting process

1. Apply interface agent. Use: seal the base course to prevent problems of putty due to loose cement walls, loose soil or too dry cement walls. Its surface is more suitable for putty adhesion than cement walls.

2. Putty. Before puttying, measure the flatness of the wall to determine the method of puttying. Generally, two putties can be applied to the wall, which can not only level but also cover the background color. Putty with poor flatness needs to be scraped several times locally. If the flatness is extremely poor and the wall slope is serious, it can be considered to scrape gypsum for leveling first, and then apply putty. The interval between puttying shall be more than 2 hours (after surface drying).

3. Polish the putty. Use a lamp bulb of more than 200 watts to close to the wall for lighting, and check the flatness while polishing.

4. Brush primer. After the floating dust on the polished putty surface is cleaned, the primer can be applied. The primer shall be applied for one or two times and must be even. After it is completely dry (2-4 hours), it can be polished with fine sandpaper.

5. Brush the top coat. The finishing coat shall be brushed twice, and the interval between each coat shall be more than 2-4 hours (depending on the surface drying time) until it is basically dry.
